The English voice cast of Disney’s Zootopia 2 features Josh Gad as Zootopia Police Department worker Paul Moldebrandt, but the Japanese dub has someone unexpected stepping into the role. Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima has been confirmed to join the Japanese dub cast for the sequel, which opens in cinemas in Japan on December 5. Zootopia 2 director Jared Bush reportedly offered the role to Kojima directly. Bush shared his enthusiasm for the news on X (formerly Twitter) while quoting a tweet from the official The Game Awards account .
