You and I Are Polar Opposites Anime Reveals 3 New Voice Cast Members

In addition to the previously-announced Sayumi Suzushiro as Miyu Suzuki and Shoho Sakata as Yusuke Tani, the official website for the upcoming TV anime You and I Are Polar Opposites revealed three additional voice cast members today. All three are classmates of Suzuki and Tani. Yuna Taniguchi (Momoka Shimochi in Alice Gear Aegis Expansion ) voices Watanabe, a cheerful, upbeat classmate of Suzuki and Tani. She's free-spirited and says exactly what's on her mind without hesitation. Comment from Yuna Taniguchi: I'm Yuna Taniguchi, and I've been given the opportunity to play the role of Watanabe, aka Nabe. I had a bit of a rough start, as things didn't come together the way I hoped. But over time, I started to feel Nabe's energy really sink in. I focused on keeping things bright, happy, and true to her carefree spirit, and now I'm genuinely having so much fun playing her. I hope she comes across as that easygoing friend you wish you had around, and I also hope you're ready to go nuts over Suzuki and Tani-kun's love story. Konatsu Hirabayashi voices Sato, a quiet and cool-headed girl, also a classmate of Suzuki and Tani. Calm and reliable, she tends to observe her friends' love lives with a rational, objective perspective. Comment from Konatsu Hirabayashi: I'm Konatsu Hirabayashi, and I play the role of Sato. This is my first time playing a regular role in an anime, so I was definitely nervous going in. But every time, the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the recording studio gave me the push I needed. Sato is cool and sharp?really intelligent. And those moments when she throws out these spot-on comebacks to Suzuki or Nabe are so crisp and satisfying. Even during recording, I kept thinking, "Wow, I love how that line lands." She's effortlessly calm and steady, never wavering. I absolutely adore that about Sato. As for me, I found myself totally swept up in everyone's story arcs and my heart was constantly fluttering. I had so much fun soaking in the warmth and brightness that's been so carefully woven into the show. I'd be thrilled if you could join us in feeling all the excitement and heart-pounding moments right up to the very end. Thank you so much for your support! Anji Iwata voices Yamada, a cheerful, easygoing boy and classmate of Suzuki and Tani. He's the life of the party?open, honest, and quick to befriend anyone. He expresses his thoughts without holding back. Comment from Anji Iwata: I've been a fan of this series since the original manga, and I secretly started practicing the role of Yamada, hoping I'd get to play him if it ever got an anime adaptation. At first glance, he might seem a bit carefree and goofy, but deep down, he's honest, kind, and just a genuinely good guy. As I take on the role, I really want to bring out all the charm that makes Yamada so lovable. His energetic, lively vibe is something I feel I can draw from my own personality too?so rather than overthinking it, I'm approaching the role without pretense. I hope you enjoy the show!
