Ahead of a January 2026 broadcast and subsequent simulcast on Crunchyroll , the You and I Are Polar Opposites anime today announced the casting of Cocoro Omori (Virgo in A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ) as Nishi and Tomori Kusunoki (Nemu in WITCH WATCH ) as Honda. Both are classmates of main characters Miyu and Yusuke. Nishi RELATED: You and I Are Polar Opposites Anime Welcomes Two New Cast Members Takakazu Nagatomo ( SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary episode director) directs the You and I Are Polar Opposites anime at studio Lapin Track, with series composition by Teruko Utsumi ( Sarazanmai ), character designs by Mako Miyako and music by tofubeats ( The Concierge ). Kocha Agasawa created the original manga. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs, and describes the story like so: Suzuki’s a high school girl in love, but the guy she’s fallen for is nothing like her! While she’s cheerful, outgoing, and always trying to fit in, her classmate Yusuke Tani is stoic, quiet, and doesn’t seem to care what people think of him.
