SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have another mainline Yakuza game remake in the pipeline with the announcement of Yakuza Kiwami 3 . The third game—which finds Kazuma Kiryu protecting an orphanage in Okinawa—gets an “extreme remake” on February 12, 2026 alongside a brand-new spinoff game centered on Yakuza 3 ’s Yoshitaka Mine. In addition to updated visuals, Yakuza Kiwami 3 includes added scenes and “enhanced side experiences.” The standalone tale is titled Dark Ties and follows Mine’s dramatic journey with combat based on boxing and the usual assortment of side-missions and minigames.
