The official X (formerly Twitter) for the World Trigger anime series revealed details about the previously-announced reboot project today. According to the announcement, the reboot project will re-adapt the original manga starting from the first chapter of the manga, followed by the Border Enlistment Arc, Large-Scale Invasion Arc and B-Rank Wars Arc, into a completely new anime, titled World Trigger 1st Season . Toei Animation will continue to handle the animation production, as it did for the previous three seasons. Further information will be revealed at the Jump Festa 2026 event on December 20. However, a mysterious group suddenly appeared and repelled the Neighbors. This Border Defense Agency independently researches Neighbor technology and fights to protect this world.
