Original game Castle Wolfenstein debuted in 1981. The saga grew to include Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein 3D, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Wolfenstein RPG, Wolfenstein (2009), Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein: Old Blood, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot.

Set during World War II, the games follow William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, an American Army captain, and his fight against the Axis powers. Wikipedia recaps, “Earlier titles are centered around Nazi attempts to harness supernatural and occult forces, while later games are set after the Nazis successfully implement various science fiction technologies to achieve victory in World War II.”
No word yet on the storyline in play for the television series. Stay tuned for more.
