Japanese radio station Nippon Broadcasting System will launch a new original English learning podcast program titled "Anime English Club with Sally Amaki" on May 13, 2025. As its title suggests, voice actor Sally Amaki ( 22/7 member, Carol Olston in Tomo-chan Is a Girl! ) will host the program, which is entirely in English. She is a native English speaker from Los Angeles, and hosted the 7th Crunchyroll Anime Awards in March 2023 along with Jon Kabira. The program's official YouTube channel is now streaming a trailer (Episode 0). Anime English Club with Sally Amaki Trailer In the program, Amaki will talk about "how to say famous lines from anime in English" and "what kind of differences there are between Japanese and English due to cultural differences," adding her own voice actor's point of view. She will choose phrases that will help domestic English learners learn English as they listen and foreign anime fans learn about Japanese culture. The program will broadcast every Tuesday around 12:00 noon (JST) on Nippon Broadcasting System PODCAST STATION (https://podcast.1242.com), ANNJAM, or podcast apps of Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, and radiko, etc. Additionally, it will stream as a video podcast on the program's official YouTube channel . The first episode, scheduled to stream on May 13, will feature the popular anime series Hailyu!!
