The five-member voice actor idol unit i☆Ris released a music video for their brand new song "ViVa i☆DOL!" on their official YouTube channel . The pop tune is the lead track of their much-awaited fifth original album "ViVa i☆DOL" (without the exclamation mark) to release in Japan on April 30. After one of its founding members, Azuki Shibuya left the unit in the end of March 2021 in order to pursue her own solo career, they have been working as a five-member unit consisting of Himika Akaneya, Yu Serizawa, Miyu Kubota, Saki Yamakita, and Yuki Wakai. They have released 25 singles and four original albums to date. In May 2024, i☆Ris the Movie -Full Energy!!- , an anime film inspired by the unit, was released in Japan, then Live & Documentary Movie ~i☆Ris on STAGE~ , a documentary film focused on the members, followed in September of the year.
