The post announcing the news also includes an illustration newly drawn by character designer Maki Fujioka, expressing their gratitude for the support. As the Uta no Prince-sama franchise's third concert film, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: TABOO NIGHT XXXX opened in 135 theaters on May 9 and has stayed in the weekend box office ranking top 10 nine times since its release. Even in its latest 11th weekend of July 18-20 , it still ranked #8. The film has earned 1,693,033,580 yen (11.5 million USD) on 1,001,193 admissions in 77 days according to Animate Times . It has already become the sixth highest-grossing Japanese anime film of 2025.
