UNISON SQUARE GARDEN Releases In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Anime Opening Song Music Video

The official YouTube channel for the three-piece Japanese rock band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN started streaming a music video for their latest song "Uruwashi" ("Beautiful"), which is now featured as the opening theme for the winter 2026 TV anime In the Clear Moonlit Dusk . UNISON SQUARE GARDEN "Uruwashi" Music Video In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Anime Creditless Opening Movie "Uruwashi" was included in UNISON SQUARE GARDEN's double A-side 21st single "Uruwashi / Azalea no Kaze," which was released in Japan on January 21 and ranked #3 in Oricon's daily single charts on its first day. The other title track of the single, "Azalea no Kaze" ("The wind of Azalea") is also featured as the ending theme for the anime. UNISOIN SQUARE GARDEN bassist Tomoya Tabuchi, who wrote and composed the song, shared the following comment on the band's official website : A friend named Maisa Tsuno introduced me to Yamamori-sensei's works, and I was so moved by every piece that I secretly started making songs. But somehow, things ended up like this. Would the voice and sound of a rock band truly fit into Yamamori-sensei's world, which is far too beautiful? When the offer came, I agonized over it for quite some time. However, through conversations with Yamamori-sensei, Director Maruyama, and the entire anime staff, what became clear was "The edge feeling only rock bands possess—it's impossible to hide" and "The sensuality that resonates with this work, made possible by vocalist Kosuke Saito." I gathered the melodies and lyrics that surfaced toward that goal and completed the song. I hope it will emit a faint light in the corner of the work and occasionally help the drama along.
