A premiere date is in place for the Undead Unluck Winter Arc anime special, which will air its hour-long broadcast in Japan on December 25. Along with that news comes a pair of cast additions, the second of which is for an original character. Yamato Haishima provides the screenplay, Hideyuki Morioka and Shunichi Ishimoto provide the character designs and Kenichiro Suehiro provides the music. Shueisha published the original Undead Unluck manga by Yoshifumi Tozuka from January 2020 – January 2025 in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine, and the series was collected in 27 volumes. VIZ Media publishes an English language version of the series.
