Upcoming isekai comedy manga adaptation Uglymug, Epicfighter published a 30-second TV commercial for the series and also revealed the details of its Japanese broadcast schedule. The series debuts on TOKYO MX on July 6, 2025, with additional broadcasts to follow on other stations. Uglymug, Epicfighter TV Commercial Based on the original work by Ryo Hiromatsu (published by Kobunsha under their Light Books label), Square Enix publishes the Uglymug, Epicfighter manga adaptation written by Ryo Hiromatsu and illustrated by Osamu Kozuki in their Monthly Big Gangan manga magazine. Square Enix also publishes an English language version of the series on their Manga Up! Platform. Toshiyuki Sone directs the TV anime at animation studio WHITE FOX. Kenta Ihara provides the series composition, Miki Matsumoto provides the character designs, and Ryo Kawasaki provides the music.
