Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider Anime Debuts on October 4

The upcoming TV anime based on the tokusatsu-themed seinen manga Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider revealed its official release date today along with new information about the official opening theme song for the series. The series broadcasts in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning on October 4, 2025. Crunchyroll will also stream the series as part of the fall 2025 anime simulcast lineup. TeddyLoid feat. Shigeru Matsuzaki accelerated by TOPHAMHAT-KYO (FAKE TYPE.) performs the opening theme song for the series, which is entitled “Wanna be”. Hero's Inc. currently publishes the manga in their Comiplex digital manga magazine. Takehiro Ikezoe directs the anime adaptation at animation studio LIDEFILMS. Touko Machida provides the series composition, Cindy H. Yamauchi provides the character designs and TeddyLoid provides the music. The story of Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider follows Tanzaburo Tojima, a forty-year-old man who is abnormally obsessed with the Kamen Rider franchise.
