The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Sai Naekawa's yuri suspense manga This Monster Wants to Eat Me released a main trailer and visual today. The site also confirmed that the anime is set to premiere in Japan on October 2, 2025. This Monster Wants to Eat Me Main Trailer Main Visual The trailer introduces the anime's opening theme song "Nie" ("Sacrifice") by singer Yoshino , known for her theme song works for Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii , Loner Life in Another World , and The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses . Yoshino shared the following comment on the song: I am Yoshino, and I performed the opening theme song. I wanted to express the love and obsession between two lonely souls who desperately seek each other out, so I asked Yurry Canon-san to write a song called “Nie” for this anime. I hope this song can cuddle up to the beautiful yet fragile world that is so poignant it takes your breath away. Please enjoy the song along with the anime.
