The official website and accounts for The Water Magician anime announced today that the upcoming anime will premiere on July 3 alongside the release of a new trailer. Meiyo Densetsu will perform the opening theme “Blue Motion,” with Misaki performing the ending theme “Tayutau Mamani.” Additionally, Crunchyroll is announcing today it will stream the series when it premieres during the summer anime season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and India. Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata in Haikyu!! ) is cast as the protagonist Ryo, alongside Kazuki Ura (Yoichi Isagi in BLUE LOCK ) as Abel and Kaede Hondo (Sakura Minamoto in ZOMBIE LAND SAGA ) as Sera. Superstar!! episode animation director). Typhoon Graphics and Wonderland will both work on the anime production. The anime was first announced in January 2025 . Kudou began serialization of the novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in April 2020. TO Books' TO Bunko imprint releases the print edition since March 2021, with 13 volumes released in Japan to date. The novel's manga adaptation illustrated by Bokutengo began serialization on TO Books' Comic Corona website since September 2021 with six volumes released in Japan to date.
