After being announced exactly a month ago, the official accounts and website for The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom TV anime opened tonight, revealing a bunch of new information. This news for the anime series, based on the light novels written by Puni-chan and illustrated by Akeno Naruse, includes its January 2026 premiere, a key visual, lead staff members and the returning cast from the visual novel game. The story was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website before being picked up for publishing by B's Log Bunko. As of this writing, 14 volumes of the light novel have been released. The series also got a visual novel game from Operahouse, which was released on Nintendo Switch and Steam on March 21, 2024, with English subtitles.
