The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Kocha Agasawa's romantic comedy web manga series The Ramparts of Ice released a teaser trailer and visual today. The site also confirmed that the anime is set to premiere in Japan in April 2026. The Ramparts of Ice , otherwise known in English as Ice Castle Wall , was first self-published as a webtoon before being serialized through the Line Manga app from January 2020 to April 2022, releasing 14 collected volumes printed by Shueisha. The series came second in AnimeJapan's "Manga We Want To See Animated Ranking" poll in 2023. The story follows a loner high school girl considered unapproachable due to her cold facial expressions and attitude, until she meets a boy who inexplicably tries to get close to her.
