Publisher TO Books announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) account today that an anime adaptation of Mizuki Nagano's The Person I Loved Asked Me to Die in My Sister's Stead fantasy romance light novel series is currently in production. Additional details, such as staff, cast and release date, were not confirmed at the time of reporting. Seven volumes featuring illustrations Saori Toyota have been published in Japan to date.
