‘The Jester 2’ Teaser – Supernatural Slasher Sequel Hits Theaters in September

You can’t cheat death twice with The Jester 2, a sequel to the 2023 supernatural slasher.

The film will be released in theaters nationwide for a two nights only on September 15-16, accompanied by an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette.

On Halloween night, teen magician Max finds herself locked in a brutal showdown with the Jester, a nightmarish and supernatural trickster with real dark magic and a killer act. As illusions turn lethal and every escape is a trap, Max must pull off the ultimate trick: staying alive. On this deadly night, the only escape is to beat the devil at its own game.

The Jester creator Colin Krawchuk returns to write and direct. Epic Pictures’s Dread label produces in association with Traverse Terror.

Michael Sheffield reprises his role as the titular trickster, joined by Kaitlyn Trentham, Jessica Ambuehl, and Dingani Beza.

“I’m so grateful to Fathom for having faith in our project by releasing it nationwide. This is a hugely exciting moment for us and for The Jester and will hopefully allow a larger audience to get to know him in theaters,” said Krawchuk. “We never thought we’d be able to see our favorite villain up on the big screen, it’s truly a dream come true.”

“The original film struck a nerve with horror fans, and this sequel cranks everything up—bigger scares, deeper lore, and the triumphant return of our sinister fan-favorite,” added Epic Pictures CEO Patrick Ewald. “This is a film made to be screamed in the dark, surrounded by other horror lovers. There’s no better way to experience The Jester 2 than on the big screen with Fathom.”

Tickets for The Jester 2 go on sale August 15 at Fathom Entertainment.
