Last year, Katsuhisa Minami's action manga The Fable received an anime adaptation. This year, it's getting its first-ever game: a puzzle fighter titled The Fable -Manga Build Roguelike- , and a release date is in place. Originally announced in September 2024, the game lets you step into the shoes of Akira, Yoko or Suzuki, each of whom has their own unique strengths. Players battle enemies by placing manga frames on a page to build their combo. Moves play out from top right to bottom left, and damaged "pages" are "torn" — reducing the space available for placing pieces on the next turn. The Fable -Manga Build Roguelike- goes on sale November 5 (November 6 in Japan) for Steam and Nintendo Switch. The Steam version will support English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese languages.
