Upcoming fantasy light novel to TV anime adaptation The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest revealed a new cast member and character visual today. In the series, voice actor Masaaki Mizunaka (Aston in The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows ) plays the role of Ornest Rain , a member of Alec's party with a brash and reckless personality. The series premieres in Japan in October 2025. Kodansha publishes the original The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest light novels, which are written by Alto and illustrated by Yuunagi, under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint. Kodansha also serializes a manga adaptation with artwork by Yuki Monji in their Magazine Pocket publication. Ken Takahashi directs the TV anime at animation studio GEKKOU. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu provides the series composition and Yoko Sato provides the character designs.
