The Apothecary Diaries Anime Unveils Bellflower Seasonal Visual

When one prescription ends, another begins! The conclusion of The Apothecary Diaries ' monthly seasonal visuals in June was greatly exaggerated, as the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account kicked off "Chapter 2" today with a sweltering depiction of Maomao and Pairin amongst bellflowers. A sequel anime is currently in production. Natsu Hyuuga pens the original light novels and Touko Shino provides the illustrations. Crunchyroll streams the historical drama anime and describes the story: Maomao lived a peaceful life with her apothecary father. Until one day, she’s sold as a lowly servant to the emperor’s palace. But she wasn’t meant for a compliant life among royalty. So when imperial heirs fall ill, she decides to step in and find a cure!
