Chinese donghua series The All-devouring Whale: Homecoming will broadcast a Japanese language scheduled to broadcast on Fuji TV beginning on July 2, 2025. Wei Tainxing directs the Chinese language version at animation studio Big Firebird Cultural. Taisuke Hinata directs the Japanese language version, with Reiko Torii translating the script, Tohokushinsha Film Corporation provides the sound production and Fuji Television and bilibili produce the Japanese language version. Bilibili describes The All-devouring Whale: Homecoming! : Fan Lingxiao is a gifted spirit pet master in Lingxiao Sect, but he's stabbed in the back at a competition between top sects and devoured by his own spirit pet whale Kun. He wakes up to find that he's become Liu Fengmang, a teenager held in the cell of Bai's Residence. At the same time, Lingxiao Sect is on the verge of collapse.
