That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Novel Releases Final 23rd Volume in November

Japanese publisher Micro Magazine announced that the final 23rd volume of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime isekai fantasy light novel series created by Fuse (story) and Mitz Vah (illustrations) is set to release in Japan on November 29, 2025 . The light novel series will conclude its 11-year history with this final volume. For the bonus illustration of the 23rd volume's special edition, Mitz Vah also specially drew the top 11 characters selected in the poll alongside the protagonist, Rimuru. The original version of the novel by Fuse was serialized on the novel self-publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou from 2013 to 2015. Micro Magazine acquired the series and started publishing it from the publisher's GC Novels imprint in 2014. The series has been adapted into various media, including a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami (published by Kodansha), an anime, and a stage play. The cumulative circulation of the entire series has reached 56 million copies. Crunchyroll has streamed the anime series in a range of subs and dubs, and describes the story: Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
