The upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy light novel series Tenkousaki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi datta Ken (“The Story of the Neat and Sweet Beautiful Girl Who I Met After Changing Schools, Who Was Actually a Childhood Friend I Mistook for a Boy When We Played Together as Kids”, known in Japan as TenBin for short) published new teaser art, revealed a teaser trailer and announced the voice actor the leading lady today. In the series, voice actor Ikumi Hasegawa plays Haruki Nikaido , the childhood friend of the protagonist. The series will broadcast in Japan in 2026. TenBin Teaser Trailer The series was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website beginning in June 2020. KADOKAWA publishes a print version of Tenkousaki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi datta Ken under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint, and 9 volumes have been published in Japan to date. Yu Hibari writes and Shiso illustrates the series. Fujimi Shobo also publishes a manga adaptation with artwork by Kina Oyama. The main staff for the TV anime adaptation has not yet been revealed at the time of reporting. The two were separated seven years ago when Hayato and his family moved to the city, but they promised to always be friends. In the present day, Hayato is unexpectedly reunited with Haruki when they end up seated next to each other in class, only for Hayato to discover that Haruki is now the class idol with her good looks, excellent grades, and strong athletic skills.
