Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Anime Film Anthology Gets New Trailer, 8 Key Visuals

The stories renowned manga creator Tatsuki Fujimoto crafted before the likes of Chainsaw Man and Look Back are headed to the big screen next week in Japan for a limited two-week engagement before heading to streaming around the world in an anthology titled  Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 .  Before then, a new trailer was released tonight, featuring a few more scenes from each of the eight short films and a key visual for each story. Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Anime Theatrical Trailer RELATED: Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man Manga One-Shots Get Anime Adaptation Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 adapts the pair of manga collections of Fujimoto’s original one-shots, Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man 17-21 and Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man 22-26 , into eight short anime films that will be released as one anthology. The anthology will be split into two parts and released as “Part 1” and “Part 2” in Japanese theaters starting October 17 for two weeks before all short films stream around the world exclusively on Amazon Prime Video beginning November 7 (November 8 in Japan). The eight stories feature seven directors across six studios, with anime greats such as Naoya Ando ( Paradox Live The Animation ) and Shu Honma ( MAYONAKA PUNCH ) at studios such as P.A.WORKS and Lapin Track, among others. VIZ Media publishes both volumes of Fujimoto’s story collections, describing the first as such: Alien invasions, high school romances, and even bloody vampire action—all this and more awaits in four compelling short stories that reveal the starting point of Tatsuki Fujimoto, the twisted mastermind behind Chainsaw Man.
