Little Nightmares I & II creators Tarsier Studios and THQ Nordic have revealed a February 13, 2026 release date for their horror adventure title REANIMAL, which will release simultaneously across PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch 2. And after the Steam Next Fest demo (which is still available), PlayStation and Xbox players can now check out their own demo.
In addition, pre-orders for REANIMAL are now open on PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series, with Nintendo Switch 2 owners receiving pre-orders and a demo at a future date. Players who pre-order receiving the Foxhead & Muttonhead Masks as a pre-order bonus.
In this exclusive, co-op demo, players start at the very beginning of REANIMAL, including the reunion of orphaned siblings trying to survive the most dire circumstances. The Boy and The Girl, the game’s protagonists, then begin their desperate search for their missing friends together. You’ll explore environments such as the Mill and Trainyard, and uncover the first fragments of the dark mystery that binds this unsettling world.
And in case you needed reminding, REANIMAL will also be available in a Collector’s Edition, which can also be pre-ordered now. Along with a physical copy of the game for consoles, the Collector’s Edition includes:
