The upcoming TV anime based on the classic JRPG series Suikoden: The Anime revealed a new piece of key art (above) as well as the main cast for the series. The main cast includes: Riliu voiced by Toshiki Kumagai Jowy voiced by Shinba Tsuchiya Nanami voiced by Ayumi Hinohara Viktor voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi Flik voiced by Yuichi Nakamura Riliu Jowy Nanami Viktor Flik The protagonist of the series, who had no official name in the video game since players could input a name of their choosing, has been named Riliu for the TV anime. Additionally, Katsuyuki Konishi and Yuichi Nakamura are reprising their roles as Viktor and Flik , respectively, from the upcoming Suikoden: Star Leap video game for iOS. YUZO directs the TV anime at studio KONAMI animation, with series composition by Michihiro Tsuchiya, animation character designs by Ryo Yamauchi and music by Koji Nakamura. The TV anime adapts the story of Suikoden II , and the story of the series is described as follows: Two young boys… the hero, Riliu, and his best friend Jowy, were members of a youth brigade of their home nation, the Highland Kingdom – a powerful military nation located in the north-east of the Dunan region. The two of them looked up at the same starry skies, slept in the same tent, and believed in the same future. Once the fighting was over, and the night ended, their daily lives were sure to return. Contrary to their hopes, the two boys become swept up in the whirlpool of fate, guided by the flames of war. The powerless boys reached for, and grasped immense power.
