Today on the opening day of the fourth chapter in Japan, the official website for the Space Battleship Yamato remake anime series announced today that next fifth chapter of Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 3199 , subtitled "Hakunetsu no Ginga Taisen" (translated to The Incandescent Galactic War ), is set to release in Japan on February 20, 2026. The site also released a teaser trailer and visual for the fifth chapter. The latter was newly drawn by Kia Asamiya, who has been in charge of image drawings for the Yamato 3199 series.
