RELATED: SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes Original TV Anime Premieres in October Daisuke Yoshida ( Blue Exorcist ) directs SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes at Studio VOLN. Fumiaki Maruto ( Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend novel author) works on series composition and scripts, and illustrator Hidari ( Sasami-san@Ganbaranai ) provides original character designs. The anime's main voice cast members and staff shared the following comments: Daisuke Namikawa (YOSUKE): YOSUKE, the big brother figure of the uniquely charismatic unit SI-VIS. Not a boss but a leader, YOSUKE's lines may be forceful. However, he's the kind of character who pushes everyone forward while showing them his own back. I'd be thrilled if you could enjoy the work to the fullest, without missing a single word! Ayane Sakura (Seiren): I'll be playing the voice of Siren, an artist whose parameters are off the charts. Though gifted with divine singing talent, she's utterly hopeless at everything else. I absolutely love the quirks and eccentricities of talented people, but acting is a different story. I'm building up the mind of Siren while groaning over this mysterious original animation, picking up hints from the directors along the way. Just when I think I've stacked it up, it shifts, vanishes, or floats in midair. While being tossed about by Siren's such free-spiritedness, I'm having fun doing the voice recording, so please look forward to it. Akari Kito (μ): As this is an original animation, we cast members are recording with excitement, wondering what will happen next. The character μ I play is the youngest member of SI-VIS and serves as a sort of mascot, yet she's actually a girl with a really great personality. Please check out the anime itself to see exactly what the great personality means! I'm sure you'll be drawn in by her gap and charm Nobunaga Shimazaki (Soji): Personally, I think Soji is a pretty cute guy. I'm sure he'll show you more human-like quirks than you might imagine right now. He's the kind of person you grow to like more the more you get to know him. I would appreciate your support ! Soma Saito (JUNE): JUNE has a calmer personality compared to the other members, having an atmosphere like the group's balancer. However, there seems to be more to him than that, making him a somewhat elusive character. I hope you'll look forward to the broadcast to see how he'll be involved in the story. The work itself is also full of mysteries, so please be sure to watch every week! Thank you for your support! Daisuke Yoshida (director) : SI-VIS is a dazzling work where vibrant characters and powerful music paint the world in brilliant colors. Not only that, but the complex intertwining of each character's feelings propels the drama forward at breakneck speed. Directing this high-energy, flashy combination is incredibly fun. The production team is also moving forward with high spirits. We'll capture this live feeling on film and deliver it to you all! Fumiaki Maruto (series composition, script writer): "They're singing heroes, but they fight barehanded — no weapons allowed." I was asked to describe the scriptwriter's feelings when a certain producer told me so in under 200 characters… Well, I did freeze for a moment, but then I thought, "Actually, that's pretty interesting!" and threw myself into the challenge even more. So, I'd be thrilled if you could check out these heroes—hot, cool, and captivating (just my personal opinion) — in action, even if it's just for a trial viewing. Hidari (original character designer): As a mixed-gender dance-vocal unit, I aimed to maintain a sense of unity as a single team while diversifying each character's role… The part that was both challenging and rewarding for me was finding the right balance between these conflicting elements. For stage costumes, dyeing everyone in the theme for each specific stage creates a relatively cohesive look. But for everyday wear, variation in clothing styles is necessary, which can dilute that sense of unity within the unit… Despite all that worry, I had a lot of fun designing it, so please do take a look. Yasushi Nakura (sound director): They are described as “artist heroes who save the world through music,” and the music unit “SI-VIS” passionately, and at times lyrically, elevates the work with their in-show songs. The story unfolds as an ensemble drama and coming-of-age tale for young people, with the cast delivering the narrative with great sensitivity and, at times, boldness. Also, be sure to pay attention to the background music by Mutsuki-san that adds color to it all. Each episode delivers developments you won't want to miss. Please look forward to it! Shuhei Mutsuki (music): I'm Shuhei Mutsuki, and I am in charge of the soundtrack music! "SI-VIS" uses music to bring joy to people and even empower them to fight. As the story progressed, I believe the soundtrack grew alongside the SI-VIS members. I hope you'll look forward to the broadcast and see what kind of music they play! The synopsis of SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes reads: SI-VIS is a co-ed music group, led by YOSUKE, shaking up the global music scene with their unmatched vocals and performances. However, they are actually heroes in disguise, battling against mysterious forces threatening the world. They convert audience energy at live performances into combat power. Luckily, the battles appear to be ordinary concerts to the public, keeping their identity a secret.
