‘She Loved Blossoms More’ Trailer – Surreal Sci-Fi Body Horror Nightmare Releases Next Month

Three grieving brothers go to untold lengths to alter their reality in the trailer for She Loved Blossoms More.

The surreal blend of science fiction, body horror, and dark comedy hits select theaters and VOD on October 3 via Dark Sky Films and Yellow Veil Pictures.

Three brothers build an unusual time machine in order to bring their long-dead mother back to life. When their delusional father comes into the picture, the experiments go awry, and they descend into a psychedelic hellscape where the past and present fuse in a comedic yet disturbing exploration of grief.

The Greek-France co-production is directed by Yannis Veslemes (Norway) from a script he co-wrote with Dimitris Emmanouilidis.

Panos Papadopoulos, Julio Giorgos Katsis, Aris Balis, and Dominique Pinon star.

Christos V. Konstantakopoulos (The Lobster), Ant Timpson (Turbo Kid), and Andreas Zoupanos Kritikos (Knock at the Cabin) executive produce.

She Loved Blossoms More premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival before playing Fantastic Fest, Sitges (where it won the Noves Visions award), and more.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review,”Veslemes forgoes conventional narratives in favor of a tactile mood piece that leans into the psychotronic. The debut filmmaker delivers a collision of DIY techniques that transforms She Loved Blossoms More into an arresting, vibrant realm of practical effects-driven creatures and ruined experiments.”
