Shabake Anime Publishes Sasuke Character Trailer

Shabake , the upcoming TV anime based on the series of historical fantasy novels, published a character trailer today highlighting Sasuke (voiced by Taku Yashiro), an inugami that assumes human form and acts as the older brother to Ichitaro , the protagonist. The trailer also features Kujira performing the opening theme song for the series, which is entitled “Inochi no Parade” (“Parade of Life”). The series is scheduled to broadcast as part of Fuji TV's “Noitamina” block this October. Shabake Sasuke Character Trailer The main cast for Shabake includes: Ichitaro (aka “Young Master”) played by Daiki Yamashita Nikichi voiced by Koji Okino Sasuke voiced by Taku Yashiro Shinchosha publishes the original Shabake novels by Megumi Hatakenaka in Japan. Takahiro Okawa directs the Shabake TV anime at animation studio BN Pictures. Toko Machida provides the series composition, Akari Minagawa provides the character designs and Rei Ishizuka provides the music. Ichitaro was born sickly and is unable to go outside as a result, but he is beloved by the spirits such as his friends Sasuke (an inugami ) and Nikichi (a hakutaku ), who accompany and protect him.
