Upcoming historical fantasy to TV anime adaptation Shabake published a new trailer, new key art and information on the main cast roster and the official opening theme song today. The series debuts as part of Fuji TV's “Noitamina” block in October 2025. Shabake Trailer Kujira performs the opening theme song for the series, which is entitled “Inochi no Parade” (“Parade of Life”). The main cast for Shabake includes: Ichitaro (“Young Master”) played by Daiki Yamashita Nikichi voiced by Koji Okino Sasuke voiced by Taku Yashiro Shinchosha publishes the original Shabake novels by Megumi Hatakenaka in Japan. Takahiro Okawa directs the Shabake TV anime at animation studio BN Pictures. Toko Machida provides the series composition, Akari Minagawa provides the character designs and Rei Ishizuka provides the music. Ichitaro was born sickly and is unable to go outside as a result, but he is beloved by the spirits such as his friends Sasuke (an inugami ) and Nikichi (a hakutaku ), who accompany and protect him.
