Sgt. Frog Manga Author Draws MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Anime Film Collab Illustration

To commemorate the release and box office success of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY The Sorcery of Nymph Circe , the movie's official website unveiled a collaboration illustration drawn by Mine Yoshizaki, the original author of the Sgt. Frog (known as Keroro Gunsou in Japan) manga. The Gundam Hathaway film series and the Sgt. Frog anime series are both produced by Sunrise, and Yoshizaki's illustrations are homages to the key visual for The Sorcery of Nymph Circe. The original tagline for The Sorcery of Nymph Circe reads: "Can that existence become light—," while the Sgt. Frog version reads: "We can become the light ourselves—." The film earned 1,000,728,340 yen (6.4 million USD) on 602,787 admissions in five days since its release , becoming the ninth Gundam film to surpass the one billion yen mark at the Japanese box office. Meanwhile, the all-new feature film from the Sgt. Frog anime series, titled Shin Gekijoban Keroro Gunsou: Fukkatsushite Sokkou Chikyu Metsubou no Kiki de Arimasu! (translated to New Theatrical Movie Sgt. Frog: Upon Revival, Immediately Facing the Threat of Earth's Destruction! ) is set to release in Japan in summer 2026.
