This summer, Sanrio mascot Kuromi is getting the attention she desires (and deserves)! My Melody 's long-time friendly rival marks her 20th anniversary this year, and Sanrio is celebrating with a fancy tea party at the Westin Hotel Sendai . Guests can enjoy a special menu, featuring entrees and light bites inspired by Kuromi's iconic devilish design. The menu includes zunda-mochi and strawberry cream sandwiches, chicken and pearl onion skewers and black sesame baked cheesecake. Marshmallows, parfaits and more are also up for grabs. On weekends, diners can choose from a buffet in addition to the set tea menu.
