It’s been 37 years since Samurai Troopers anime hit screens and now it’s time for a new team to take up the mantle and save the world. A new teaser trailer for the sequel series, Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers , was released tonight, revealing the voice cast for the four other troop members working alongside Gai in a modern Tokyo setting. A visual was also released showing all five Samurai Troopers together. Hideo Okamoto, armor designer for the original Samurai Troopers series, returns to continue his work on the new show's "Yoroigear." The new series is scheduled for a January 2026 premiere.
