Ranma 1/2 Season 2 Anime Announces October Premiere in Anything-Goes Trailer

The second season of the new Ranma 1/2 adaptation is closer than expected! A new trailer released today confirms that the Rumiko Takahashi classic will return to Netflix in October 2025 , featuring several new and returning cast members. Once again, the cast will be a mix of voice actors from the original 1989 anime and new arrivals. And in some cases, even the returning actors are in new roles! Joining the cast for season 2 will be: Mousse: Toshihiko Seki (returning voice actor) Ukyo Kuonji: Kaori Nazuka (Suirei in The Apothecary Diaries ) Cologne: Ako Mayama (Fortune Teller in The Tatami Galaxy ) Happosai: Kazuhiko Inoue (Mikado Sanzenin in the 1989 Ranma 1/2 ) Hikaru Gosunkugi: Akira Ishida (Regulus Corneas in Re:ZERO ) RELATED: Ranma 1/2 Anime Clocks in with Two New SEIKO Watches More information will be revealed as we approach the premiere. Shogakukan serialized the original Ranma 1/2 manga from August 1987 – March 1996 in their Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. VIZ Media also publishes an English-language version of the series. Konosuke Ueda directs the newest TV anime at animation studio MAPPA, with Kimiko Ueno providing the series composition, Hiromi Taniguchi on the character designs and Kaoru Wada on music.
