While we wait for the beginning of the end with “Stranger Things 5” later this year, breakout star Millie Bobby Brown has already set up a new supernatural series at Netflix.
Deadline reports that Millie Bobby Brown will both star in and executive produce a series titled “Prism” for Netflix, which Rachel Brosnahan (Superman) will also executive produce.
Etan Frankel (Shameless, Joe vs. Carole) will serve as the project’s showrunner.
Deadline details, “Millie Bobby Brown will play Cassie, a woman with the unique ability to communicate with apparitions, who must uncover the cause of a newly discovered phenomenon that causes “visitors” (ghosts) to appear all over the world before it’s too late.”
“Prism” is based on a short story written by Nick Shafir.
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are also on board to executive produce.
