Over the last week, everyone’s favorite Pokémon, Malamar, has been celebrated worldwide. Even the physical Japanese Pokémon Center stores were decked out in Malamar goodness! We finally learned the reason behind all the festivities: Malamar is getting a brand new Mega Evolution in the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A . The official Pokémon YouTube channel released two new trailers for the new Kalos-based main series game. One newsreel trailer features the reveal of Mega Malamar, and another shows the mind-bending creature in action.
