Crunchyroll brought the worlds of anime and competitive gaming together this year as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring booth activations and photo ops from fan-favorite anime series, engaging trivia, and so much more! As part of the event, Crunchyroll gave away 60,000 60-day free trials to fans in attendance so they could start their anime-watching journeys, plus plenty of other giveaway items! Special experiences for fans at the event included: Kaiju No. 8 – Find the Core Game: Fans had the chance to help out the Kaiju Defense Force themselves by hunting for Kaiju cores. Gachiakuta – Wall Photo Op: Fans of the hit new series could check out a layered photo wall to celebrate their love for Gachiakuta . One Piece – Lab: Straw Hat fans were able to step into the world of One Piece and Egghead Island. Anime Trivia: Anime fans of all skill levels put their knowledge to the test with this special game!
