‘Outside Noise’ Online Premiere – Watch the Acclaimed Horror Short from Ethan Evans

Bloody Disgusting is celebrating Friday the 13th with the online premiere of a horror short that’s been making waves on the festival circuit. Executive produced by Jed Shepherd (Host) and Alex Noyer (Sound of Violence), Outside Noise has been praised by many of horror’s biggest filmmakers, including David F. Sandberg, Mick Garris, and Roy Lee.

David F. Sandberg (Light Out) called the short “expertly crafted horror,” while Craig Engler (“Z Nation”) labeled it “One of the best and most original short horror films I’ve seen.”

Outside Noise is the latest award-winning short from Terror Arcade, presented by CenterFrame. Directed by Ethan Evans and co-written by Evans and Jess Bartlett, the short horror film stars Bobby Rainsbury (Last Breath) and Rowan Polonski (Custom).

Outside Noise was a finalist in the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards 2025, where it was endorsed by filmmakers Jason Reitman, Minhal Baig and Justin Chadwick. It screened at prestigious festivals worldwide including the 68th BFI London Film Festival, Toronto After Dark, Florida Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival, Panic Fest, and many more, where it won several awards, including: ‘Best Short Film’ at Terror Molins, StokerCon and Black Sunday, plus a Méliès d’Argent finalist at several European festivals.

The horror short has garnered high ratings on Letterboxd from festival audiences who have described it as ‘a modern nightmare’ and ‘one of the creepiest shorts I’ve ever watched.’

Bloody Disgusting is hosting the online premiere of Outside Noise on a non-exclusive basis. Terror Arcade LTD remains the sole owner of the short film’s IP and entire rights.
