Oshi no Ko is going national! Starting today, a new initiative will release art of the anime's many idols inspired by Japan's 47 prefectures. Titled Oshi no Ko All-Japan Project: Children of 47 Prefectures , the project will also participate in local events across Japan, resulting in unique merchandise and collab products featuring local delicacies. Oshi no Ko All-Japan Project: Kansai and Kyushu Kansai region Kyushu region Daisuke Hiramaki ( Asteroid in Love ) directs the Oshi no Ko anime at studio Doga Kobo, with Jin Tanaka on series composition, Kanna Hirayama on character designs and Takuro Iga on music. The hit series is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka ( Kaguya-sama: Love is War ) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari ( Scum's Wish ). Manga Plus digitally publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story: "In the world of showbiz, lies are weapons." Goro works as an OB-GYN in the countryside, a life far removed from the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, has begun her climb to stardom.
