The official X (formerly Twitter) for the Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse TV anime announced that Tomoaki Maeno (Veldora in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ) will voice Kunihito, a new character appearing in Episode 10, which is set to air in Japan on September 3. Kunihito is a hot-blooded man who lived as a Kebiishi in Heian-kyo 1,000 years ago. He hates Onmyo-jutsu. "Kebiishi" is a police-like official position responsible for maintaining order in Heian-kyo. Maeno shared the following comment on his role: I'm Maeno, and I'll be praying the voice of Kunihito. He's a clumsy and ill-tempered character, but also has an incredibly straight and passionate heart. I believe many people will empathize with his way of life, as he tries to carve out his own destiny with his might. I got fired up in my interactions with Ryohei Kimura-kun, who plays Abe Seimei.
