The most popular manga series in the world and Japan’s favorite MLB baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, joined forces last night for One Piece Night , where Luffy took over Dodger Stadium with the rest of the Straw Hat crew. After the event, the official accounts for the series released many fun things, including live-action Nami actor Emily Rudd throwing the first pitch and the video shown on screens in the stadium. The short was produced at Toei Animation with Wataru Matsumi directing, Hiroto Saito on key animation, Teppei Hotta as the character designer, Kiminori Yoshida editing the short, Hideki Chiba, Kousuke Katsumoto and Yuichi Matsumoto on photography and Masamichi Tachihara as the production assistant.
