The upcoming TV anime based on the historical fiction novel series Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- published a new trailer and revealed two additional cast members today. The series broadcasts in Japan beginning on January 11, 2026. Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- Trailer RELATED: Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- Anime Reveals 10 Cast Additions The new cast members (pictured from left to right below) include: Miyuki voiced by Ayaka Miyoshi Oto Kankuro voiced by Junichi Suwabe Miyuki and Oto Kankuro Shodensha publishes the original Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- by Shogo Imamura in Japan, with 13 volumes published to date. Akita Shoten serializes a manga adaptation with artwork by Shinobu Seguchi. Hiroshi Yasumi directs the anime adaptation at studio SynergySP, with series composition by Ryusuke Mori and music by Yasuharu Takanashi. Amuse Creative Studio is producing the series under their ACS Animation label, describing the series as follows: In the Edo era A team of heroes saved countless lives.
