Now That We Draw TV Anime Announced

The romantic comedy manga Now That We Draw (known as Kakunaru Ue wa in Japan) is being adapted into a newly announced TV anime, and a teaser trailer, teaser art, the main staff and two key cast members have been revealed for the series. At the time of this reporting, the release window for the series has not yet been revealed. In the anime, voice actor Ayumu Murase plays the role of Yuuki Uehara , while voice actor Sayumi Suzushiro plays the role of Niina Miyamoto . Now That We Draw Teaser Trailer Since February 2023, Hakusensha has serialized the original Now That We Draw manga in their Young Animal manga magazine, and 5 volumes have been published to date with the 6th volume hitting bookstores in Japan on November 28, 2025. Kyu Takahata writes and Yuwji Kaba illustrates the series. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes an English language version. Shunsuke Ishikawa directs the TV anime adaptation at animation studio ROLL2, with series composition and scripts by Deko Akao, character designs by Hiromi Nakagawa and production by Infinite.
