New Prototype 2 Playtest and Gameplay Trailer Available for ‘Hello Neighbor 3’ [Watch]

tinyBuild has updated fans on the development of Hello Neighbor 3 with a Prototype 2 playtest that’s available now on Steam. The announcement was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer, which was part of the recent tinyBuild Connect showcase. To get in on the fun, you can request access to Hello Neighbor 3 Prototype 2 by hitting the green ‘Request Access’ button from the game’s Steam page.

In Hello Neighbor 3, you arrive in Raven Brooks as a stranger. It’s early spring. The air is fresh, yet something in the silence feels…wrong. Overgrown paths, strange noises, stories half-forgotten. Raven Brooks is warm and familiar, but unsettling in ways you can’t quite name. As you explore, you’ll uncover memories long buried, pieces of stories half-remembered.

The town is now a sandbox, simulated in real-time, where residents act based on their personalities and circumstances. When you interact, directly or indirectly, their behaviour shifts. Block a road, and someone might not make it to work. Leave a door open, and someone might go through it. Raven Brooks is alive, and it reacts to everything you do or don’t do. You’re free to explore, to break or fix things, to try and fail, or to succeed in the weirdest way possible.
