New Film in Sonic the Hedgehog Universe to Open in 2028

Paramount has locked in more future big screen plans for the Sonic the Hedgehog series. While no title has been confirmed at the time of this writing, a December 22, 2028 premiere date has been announced for another feature film entry in the Sonic universe. That one will come hot on the heels of the recently-revealed hybrid live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, which Paramount has set for November 17, 2028. This will also be separate from Sonic the Hedgehog 4 , which was announced for March 19, 2027 back in January of this year.
