The classic music of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime heads to the stage in North America in an official “Evangelion Wind Symphony” concert. Sony Music, Studio Khara, Kashamara Productions and 54 Entertainment teamed up on the event, which features an appearance by iconic theme song singer Yoko Takahashi. Takahashi will join the tour to perform “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” in a special performance for select parts of the program. The concert itself debuted in Tokyo in September 2018, and the North American concerts will “showcase a breathtaking selection of musical masterpieces composed by Shiro Sagisu, performed by a full-scale wind orchestra.” After presale, which is available for Kashamara Productions followers and subscribers, tickets will go on sale for the general public starting on May 2.
