As previously reported , Hideaki Anno's landmark anime Neon Genesis Evangelion will be hosting a three-day event to celebrate the show's 30th anniversary. A colorful, celebratory visual has been released in honor of the event, showing the core cast of the Rebuild of Evangelion films in color-coded casuals. Kaworu, Rei, Shinji, Asuka and Mari sport Evangelion logo shirts against a color-splashed background, as seen above. Syuichi Iseki, an animation director for the Rebuild of Evangelion films, penned the commemorative art. Additionally, the logo shirts worn by the characters will be available to purchase both online and at the event. EVANGELION:30+; 30th ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION will take place February 21-23, 2026 at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa. The three-day celebration will include a multi-part exhibition, fans' market, panels, collaborations and special performances, including a new kabuki adaptation on the final day.
